IntC- down is 1.5kb downstream Intc site of Y. lipoltiyca, which is part of the donor DNA, allowing for the homologous recombination to integrate various ∆-12 desaturase gene of different species, hence verifying their contributions to EPA production and further optimizing our engineered strain based on the results of the study.
